Los Angeles World Airports signs $5.2 million contract with Data911 to upgrade Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management System for its Airport Police Division
ALAMEDA, Ca.—June 12, 2007—Data911 Systems signed a $5.2 million contract for a new Computer Aided Dispatch "CAD" and Records Management System "RMS" for the Los Angeles World AirportsAirport Police Division. A Data911 client since 1989, LAWA contracted with Data911 to upgrade the existing CAD system at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), along with operations and maintenance services for three years at LAX and LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT). The new CAD system will allow police dispatchers to efficiently respond to and manage over 100,000 calls for service and police events they handle each year.
