The M6 CPU supports all M-series displays, known for being the brightest, thinnest, and most rugged touchscreens available for vehicular computing. The M6 features a removable SATA hard drive, eSATA port, and ExpressCard slot. Internal WAAS-enabled GPS, Wireless LAN and Broadband Wireless options are available.

The M6s new three-piece design makes installation and maintenance a snap. The internal Power Control Module includes an integrated ignition timer, temperature sensor and voltage alarm which provides an automatic and orderly shutdown or hibernation of the M6.
