The Omaha PD Safety Committee believes that there are logistical, ergonomic and safety / tactical concerns about utilizing the Panasonic CF27 Toughbook, or any laptop style MDT, within the confined space of a police cruiser. The following are concerns about utilizing laptop style MDTs in police cruisers.
